byLine item form†

This form lets Electricka know that you have a ByLine to publish and provides a place for you to send it in. The instructions explain how to submit your work. Electricka will promptly review your submission and, if accepted, will publish it on an appropriate page of her web site.

You must enter information in this field. You have two options:

  1. Option 1: Type your complete ByLine Item here if it's less than 2000 characters. (You may find it easier to type into a word processor, then copy & paste).
  2. Option 2:  Type only a brief summary description of your ByLine Item here (10-2000 characters). Then type your ByLine Item into a word processor file and attach the file to this form (see "Attachments, Option 2," next below. Your document must be in one of these file formats: .doc, .pdf, .txt. .rtf).
Attachments: Send your expository prose document in the form of a single file.
  1. Send only one file. Include any links to web sites, properly credited quotations, citations, references, photos, videos, artwork, film clips. animations, music, sound bites, etc. in your file.
  2. Limit your file to five (5) megabytes in size.
  3. The format of the file you send to ETAF—the one that you will now upload to Electricka's web site—must be one of these file formats: .doc or .docx (MS Word), .pdf (Adobe Reader©), .txt, or .rtf. PDF format is preferred. If your file is not in PDF format, ETAF Staff will convert it to PDF for publication.

When ready to attach your file to this form, browse to it on your computer and select it. It's name will appear in the Attachment box.

"Anonymous" is the default. If you wish to remain anonymous, leave (2) and (4) checked and make sure that your alias name is blank in the Alias Name form field, above.

Otherwise, check (1) to publish your real name and/or (3) to publish your email address.

If you want your alias name published instead of your real name, check (2) and make sure you enter your alias name in the Alias Name form field, above.
