Snippet

A snippet is a bit, scrap, or morsel.

Electricka uses the term snippet in a special way. She defines two kinds of snippets: eye snippets and ear snippets.

  • An eye snippet is a brief excerpt in visual form, usually used as an example of a work of art. It may be text drawn from a poem or story, a photo, drawing, or sketch. It may be an animation or a video clip. What all eye snippets have in common is that they are seen with the eye.
  • An ear snippet is a sound sample used in a like manner that is heard with the ear.
