paintings. theyhave been selected at random to give you a "taste" of what
has been recorded there. Over thousands of years, the prehistoric artists
who created them placed them in scatterings along various areas of the
walls, as each artist saw fit. Individual figures are not bound by "frames"
or isolated from each other by formal boundaries. As a result, photographs
expose areas of the wall that take the form of panels; and each panel may
