send your ideas for improving Writing Right
We're out to make Writing Right a better writing tool. ETAF invites you to send your ideas for
features, sections, and items to include in future
editions of Writing Right. Please be microscopic; no detail is too small. Please be far-ranging and creative;
no idea is
out of bounds.
Here are a few of the kinds of ideas we're looking for:
- Mistakes, corrections, errata.
- Improvements to existing sections.
- Ideas for new features.
- Ideas for new sections. For example, ways to help writers improve the quality of
their writing.
- Writing facts and principles for Good Choice, Stop Repeating
Yourself, Oops! or one of the other existing writing problem
categories.
- Ideas for new writing problem categories. For example:
- Examples of good or bad writing.
- Interesting words or word origins.
- Suggestions for new entries to add to existing writing problem
categories.
- Suggestions for ways to find, display, and organize data.
- Software improvements or new software features that could make Writing Write easier or faster to use.
- Subjects and topics to include in HELP, FAQs, Q&A, Guidelines, or
other sections.
- Appendixes, FAQs, guidelines, or help you'd like to see. Questions you'd like
answered.
- Other kinds of items that come to mind.
