This is not quite a valid portmanteau word because the word told appears in its entirety; it's not a blend of the word told. But we'll look the other way because it catches an idea we haven't run across yet in any other portmanteau word, the idea that you can be forced to volunteer.

We don't know why our volunteer wishes to remain anonymous but it's a good bet it's because he's been told to volunteer for something.

A twinge is a sudden pinch, tweak, or twitch, a sharp pain of the kind that results from rheumatism; it's a mental or emotional pang that that affects the body or mind with a sudden, sharp pain or pang, such as a twinge of sorrow.

A twingle is different. It's not just a tingle of a twinge. It's that feeling and physical reaction you get when you raise your arm too far and too fast and hold it up too long and your arm jerks from a muscle spasm; or when you kick your leg after it goes to sleep and your muscles throb. It's that feeling you get when you raise your arm to vote no when you wish you could vote yes. It's a combination of a tingle, twinge, and twitch.

Twingle is a three-way portmantea word that blends the three words tingle, twinge, and twitch.

By the way, there's no such word as twingle. Do you wish there were?

A few examples of mass-produced trupes: Ford Ranchero, Chevrolet El Camino, GMC Cabalero, Plymouth Scamp, Dodge Rampage, VW Rabbit Sport-Truck, and Subaru Brat.

By comparison, the Subaru Baja is typical of a slightly different kind of trupe whose front half is longer than a coupe and which may contain two or four doors up front. It resembles a comparable two-or-four-door sedan in front that is equipped with a streamlined truck bed in the rear. It also takes the name trupe even though it's front half is usually longer than that of a coupe.

It's characterized chiefly by the lighting of the menorah on each night of the festival, by giving presents, and by consuming quantities of good food.

Thanksgiving is observed on the fourth Thursday of November in the U.S. and on the second Monday of October in Canada. Hanukkah is a celebrated from the 25th day of the month of Kislev to the 2nd of Tevet in commemoration of the rededication.

In some years one of the eight days of Hanukkah falls on the same day on the Gregorian calendar as does the day of Thanksgiving in the U.S. When this occurs in the U.S., the two festivals can be referred to collectively as Thanksgivukkah.
