Browser Instance

Click to open your computer's Internet browser. What you see on the monitor screen is called an instance of the browser. Now, without closing the browser, click again to open your browser. You now see two browsers on your screen.

Each copy of the browser you see on your monitor screen is called an instance of the browser. In the example we are using, there are two instances. Each one works independently of the other.
